The fourth highest division in the English football league system is Football League Two. Football League Two is also called Coca-Cola League Two or in short, it is known as League Two. This league places as the third-highest division in the Football League that is conducted annually. Football League Two was earlier named as Division Four during the years 1958 to 1992. Then it was endorsed to one level higher and was called as Division Three from 1992 until 2004. The introductory season was held in 2004. The top three teams along with the play-off winner are given entry to the Football League One, whereas the teams in Football League One that finish as the last four will be exiled to Football League Two. Brentford as emerged champions of Football League Two in the 2008-09 season. Exeter City, Wycombe Wanderers and the play-off winner Gillingham are the teams that marched into the Football League One for the 2009-10 season. Clubs Northampton Town, Crewe Alexandra, Cheltenham Town, Hereford United were relegated from Football League One to Football League Two for the 2009-10 season. According to statistics, three players, Simeon Jackson, Grant Holt and Jack Lester emerged the top scorers in the 2008-09 league season with twenty goals each. In the 2009-2010 season, Bournemouth, Dagenham & Redbridge and Rotherham United have qualified for the League One. Two clubs, Grimsby Town and Darlington have been relegated to the Conference National.
