General Betting Rules such as Dead Heats, Palpable Errors, Rule 4 Deductions & Late Bets apply to all markets where appropriate. Markets may be traded live – In-Running betting rules may apply.
TV Shows (Including, but not limited to, Reality TV Shows (celebrity or otherwise), Eurovision, SPOTY, Oscars & Talent Competitions)
1. General: Any contestant to leave a show of their own accord, be disqualified, withdrawn or eliminated in any way will be deemed a loser in all relevant markets. New participants may be added at any point during the competition.
2. Evictions/Eliminations: Eviction/Elimination bets will stand regardless of a change in procedure by the television company, unless otherwise stated, and providing a clear winner is announced. If more than one contestant is evicted/eliminated and the order of eviction is clear, a single winner will be settled, otherwise Dead Heat rules will apply. Bets will stand on all candidates in an eviction market regardless of whether they are subsequently made ‘immune’ by the TV show. Any contestants in a market who leave prior to the official eviction will be losers.
3. Outright Winner: Bets will be settled on official results. If two or more winners are announced, then dead heat rules will apply. If no clear winner is declared 7 days from the end of the completion of the competition, then all bets still in with a chance of winning will be made void on these markets.
4. Forecast/Tricast, ‘To Place’ & Special Markets: Bets will be settled on official results. If two or more winners are announced, then dead heat rules will apply. If no clear winner is declared 7 days from the end of the completion of the competition, then all bets still in with a chance of winning will be made void on these markets.
5. Voting Results: In the event of no ‘winner’ being announced until after the final of the show (for example - Eurovision Semi Finals) all bets will stand. If results cannot be found 7 days after the entire completion of the competition, then all bets still in with a chance of winning will be made void on these markets.
Other Novelty Markets (Christmas Number 1, TV Most Viewers, Awards)
Bets will be settled on official results. Dead Heats may apply. Should there be no clear or decisive winner as per official sources then bets will be made void.
Weather
1. Warm Weather: Settlement is based on data from the Met Office. For heatwaves the results are based on the regional threshold temperatures from the Met Office.
2. Snow at Christmas: Settlement is based upon data from the Met Office. For snow to have been recorded, a single snowflake must have fallen during 25th December at the airport of the relevant city. Any existing snow from previous days will not count towards settlement.
